Secondary school teachers’ perceptions of BYOD among learners within the classroom

The use of personally owned devices among learners has remained a contentious issue in schools across the globe. While several studies have been devoted to explaining importance such initiatives, debate continued rage on, with most school authorities imposing blanket ban on these within their premises. In this study, we seek contribute by examining in-service teachers’ perceptions global south context. qualitative study explores understanding usefulness technology and associated as smartphones classroom. Unified Theory Use Acceptance Technology (UTUAT) was used draw up conceptual framework.
